Meet The Owner
Gary Roy II
Gary Roy II has been painting, weatherproofing, and installing specialty coating systems since he was 13 years old. He was mentored and trained by his father, Gary Roy Sr., a union painter in Tampa turned business owner in 1974.
After graduating Robinson High Scool in South Tampa, Gary continued his education at Hillsborough Community College and transferred to the University of Florida’s building construction program.
He returned to work full time in 1996 and has been employed in the family business for over 30 years. Starting out as a weatherproofing technician, then foreman, and finally into sales.
Gary received his passion for what he does from his father and believes helping people is both spiritually rewarding and a blessing to him and all those whose lives he touches.
Gary would love to help more people and has started DryGuard Weatherproofing to expand his borders and help family and friends in his local community and those friends he hasn’t met yet.
